PROTOCOL:  T2W – Sagittal & Coronal Scans
                           T2FFE & PDW – Sagittal Scans
                           STIR – Coronal Scans

FINDINGS:

-There is evidence of a bony fragment separated from the tibial eminence but with intact anterior cruciate ligament which is inserted within it.
-The anterior margin of this fragment is mildly elevated while its posterior portion is considered to be non-displaced.
-A small portion of the covering articular cartilage is also avulsed.
-Mild bone marrow edema is seen at the lateral aspect of the opposing surfaces of both femur and tibia with extension to the lateral side in addition to the styloid process of the fibula.

-Lateral and medial meniscus show normal hypo intense signal.
-Anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments are normal in course, bulk and signal intensity.
-Medial and lateral collateral ligaments are well visualized and show normal signal intensity.
-Patellar and Quadriceps tendons are normal in appearance and signal intensities.
-No significant effusion is noted.

OPINION:

·        A case of inter condylar tibial eminence fracture for clinical correlation.
