Brain Metastases (MR).

PROTOCOL:

T1W – Sagittal & axial scans
T2W – Axial & coronal scans
FLAIR – Axial scans 

FINDINGS:

-Revealed:
• A right temporal focal cystic lesion with measurement of about 49 mm AP diameter; 45 mm height and 49 mm transverse diameter and extensive peri focal vasogenic edema.
• Another smaller one in the right frontal lobe with surrounded peri focal edema.
• Marked compression of the ipsilateral lateral ventricle with marked mid line shift of about 9 mm to the left side.
• Irregular ring enhancement after contrast injection.
• Discrepancy between two limbs of quadrigeminal cistern; yet no definite signs of conization till the time of this study (pending status).


OPINION:

• Picture is consistent with metastatic disease of the brain for clinical correlation.
