Brain Metastases (MR).





PROTOCOL:

T1W – Sagittal & axial scans
T2W – Axial & coronal scans
FLAIR – Axial scans 

FINDINGS:

-Revealed:
A right temporal focal cystic lesion with measurement of about 49 mm AP diameter; 45 mm height and 49 mm transverse diameter and extensive peri focal vasogenic edema.
Another smaller one in the right frontal lobe with surrounded peri focal edema.
Marked compression of the ipsilateral lateral ventricle with marked mid line shift of about 9 mm to the left side.
Irregular ring enhancement after contrast injection.
Discrepancy between two limbs of quadrigeminal cistern; yet no definite signs of conization till the time of this study (pending status).


OPINION:

Picture is consistent with metastatic disease of the brain for clinical correlation.
