T1W – Sagittal & axial scans
T2W – Axial & coronal scans
FLAIR – Axial scans
FINDINGS:
-Revealed:
• Right craniotomy.
• A focal cystic containing air bubbles lesion in the right parieto-occipital region with 50 mm height; 49 mm AP and 38 mm transverse diameters with peri focal edema and regular thin ring enhancement.
• Another smaller lesion with same characteristic near upper edge of first lesion.
• Compression of the occipital horn of right lateral ventricle with mild mid line shift to the right side.
• Abnormal enhancement of adjacent meninges.
• Asymmetry of both limbs of quadrigeminal cistern with no significant evidence of conization at the time of this study.
OPINION:
• Picture is suggestive of two brain abscesses with meningeal infection.
• For clinical correlation.
