Double posterior cruciate ligament sign (bucket handle tear medial meniscus).





PROTOCOL:  T2W – Sagittal & Coronal Scans
       T2FFE & PDW – Sagittal Scans
       STIR – Coronal Scans
    
FINDINGS& IMPRESSION:

-Revealed:
Bucket handle tear of the medial meniscus with evident double posterior cruciate ligament sign.
Torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Torn medial collateral ligament.
Bone marrow contusion upper tibia.
Moderate amount of joint effusion.

-Lateral meniscus shows normal hypointense signal.
-Posterior cruciate ligament is normal in course, bulk and signal intensity.
              - Lateral collateral ligament is well visualized and show normal signal intensity.
-Patellar and Quadriceps tendons are normal in appearance and signal intensities.
