Benign bone lesion (MR).

PROTOCOL:  T2W – Sagittal & Coronal Scans
       T2FFE & PDW – Sagittal Scans
       STIR – Coronal Scans
    
FINDINGS:

Revealed:
• An osteolytic lesion is seen in the upper medial border of the left tibia with about 62 x 25 mm diameters. Eccentric with lobulated margins.
• Its long axis parallel to long axis of the bones.
• Geographic bone destruction with well defined margin.
• Multiple septation.
• No periosteal reaction.
• No complicated fracture.
• Almost no contrast enhancement.

OPINION:

• In light of the above mentioned MR details and after reviewing the x-ray done for the lesion in 19/03/2015; picture is suggestive of benign bone lesion such as chondromyxoid fibroma.
