PROTOCOL: T1W and T2W – Sagittal scans
T2W 3D Axial scans
FINDINGS:
-The cervical spine shows abnormal straight curvature causing mild diffuse disc bulge of C5-6.
-Vertebrae show normal height, alignment and marrow signal intensities.
-Evidence of cervical spondylosis.
-Mild hypertrophy of ligamentum flava opposite disc C2-3 resulting in posterior indentation of the cord.
-The intervertebral discs show abnormal MR morphology and signal intensities.
No other significant diffuse disc bulge / focal disc protrusion is visualized in this study.
-Spinal cord is normal in bulk and signal intensity.
-Paravertebral muscles show normal MR morphology and signal intensity.
OPINION:
• Mild disc bulge at the level of C5-6.
• Degenerative disc disease.
• Cervical spondylosis.
• C2-3 ligamentum flava hypertrophy.
