Increased Intra Cranial pressure (CT).





Pre and post contrast MDCT was performed for the orbits.
Multiplanar reconstructions were obtained.


  • Bilateral diffuse smooth thickening of the optic nerve sheaths Flattening of the posterior aspect of the sclera.
  • Empty sella is noted.
  • The ocular muscles are normal.
  • No abnormal enhancement is seen.
  • Retrobulbar fat is normal.
  • No evidence of exophthalmos is seen.
  • Optic foramina and orbital fissures are normal.
  • Bony margins of orbits show no obvious abnormality.


IMPRESSION:

CT features suggesting of benign increased intra cranial tension for MRI evaluation if clinically indicated.
