PROTOCOL:
T2 W - Axial scans
T1 W - Axial & Sagittal scans
FLAIR - coronal scans
FINDINGS:
-Urgent reporting revealed:
- Dysplastic cerebellar vermis and atrophied cerebellar hemispheres.
- Abnormal posterior fossa cyst connected with fourth ventricle with key hole sign appearance.
- No evidence of hydrocephalus.
-The rest of the brain parenchyma pattern is normal for patient age with myelination still in progression.
-No obvious focal lesion is seen.
-Third and lateral ventricles are normal in size and position.
-Septum is in midline.
IMPRESSION:
- Picture is suggestive of Dandy Walker Variant for clinical correlation.
